Alexander has been writing professionally for over 20 years and has a reputation for having an accessible style with a diligent focus on evidenced-based documentation.  He has authored hundreds of social work practice documents ranging from policies, pledges, procedures and practice guidance.  Alex has published reports on the effectiveness of children’s social care services during his time as Her Majesty’s Inspector.
